Last month was the cookie dough fundraiser at school. I told the kids that they could each pick out a cookie dough so they'd each have one sale to get the crappy toy prize. However, Pascal sold two cookie doughs at his work so I gave the kids a choice: 1. still pick out a cookie dough or 2. use that money to instead buy items from the wish list of Thomas's teacher. I am SO proud of them for each choosing to make a donation to his class to foster their imaginations: Thomas picked out an animal X-ray set (I think we need a set at home lol) and Sophie picked out a kitty care set (we have something similar that she plays with). Tomorrow they take their donations to school and surprise Mrs. Robinson!
