Motorcycle Awareness

Michele gave me the OK to share what has happened to her family in the past week.

Last Monday, as her brother was riding his motorcycle home from work, he was in an accident on I-5. Without going into too much detail, Ty fell off his bike, stood up and was hit by another car. He was rushed to Harborview and they didn't know if he would make it because the injuries were so severe. He pulled through and is in the ICU. Since then, he has suffered two small strokes and the left side of his body appears to be affected. His wife Teresa is seven months pregnant with their first child. Teresa, Michele and her mom have been at Harborview non-stop and family and friends have been coming by to see Ty.

The heart-warming news: a witness is involved in a local motorcycle club and a fund has been established to help offset Ty's medical expenses. A contribution, of any size, would be welcome at
