First stop: Pascal's appointment. Next stop: parking the car and stopping at the tourism office to enquire about restaurants. Jackpot! There was a vegetarian restaurant within walking distance. We arrive and the restaurant is empty. The hostess asks if we have a reservation (um, why? looking at all the empty tables) and gives us our choice of tables. We each made a trip through the salad bar and Pascal had zucchini pie for his entree and I had curried garbanzos with rice (Indian-like). Mid-meal, the restaurant starts to fill up. Seriously. I didn't think it would happen. Post-dessert, burning off those calories on our way back to the car, we stopped in the 12th century Rodez Cathedral:

It was beautiful. See the blue sky? It was also very hot in Rodez. Thank goodness for air conditioning.
