I need to sort through the Whidbey Island photos so here is something completely different: a plug to support local ballet this holiday season!
My cousins Holly and Claire are accomplished ballerinas who study at the Olympic Ballet School in Edmonds and once again, they are dancing in their school's version of The Nutcracker!
There are performances in Arlington, Everett and of course Edmonds and even an abbreviated performance for the younger crowd, which is what I plan to take Sophie to. Here is the schedule if anyone is interested . . .

I used to date a guy whose two daughters both danced there and we went to see them dance the Nutcracker at Christmas time. I bet Sophie will love it!
